(“AXEL”), a leading manufacturer of mold release and process aid additives, continues its growth through the acquisition of TBF Environmental, a Canadian company that develops, manufactures, and markets VOC-compliant, HAPs-free solvents designed to replace traditional solvents such as acetone, MEK, xylene, and other commonly used regulated solvents.
TBF Environmental offers a portfolio of products including AviSol 100, ZemaSol, ShiraSol, EkaSol1, KradaSol, BerdeSol, and TergoSol. These solvent solutions support a broad range of formulation and cleaning applications across coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, inks, industrial cleaning, and other industrial markets, helping customers reduce VOC emissions while maintaining strong performance. These alternative solvents safeguard the health of users and the environment while saving businesses on storage and transportation, hazardous waste disposal and documentation, and insurance costs
With the acquisition now complete, AXEL is beginning the integration process and will work closely with the former TBF team during the transition. Their support will help AXEL deepen its understanding of the technology, serve new customers effectively, and build a pipeline for future business growth.
