March 30, 2020 (Monroe, Connecticut) – AXEL Plastics Research Laboratories (“AXEL”), a leading manufacturer of mold release agents and process aid additives, has named Timothy (Tim) Brown as the newest Regional Sales Manager. Based in Michigan, he will cover markets in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest regions. Tim brings over 30 years of experience to AXEL, which has been supplying mold releases for the plastics and rubber industries for more than 79 years.

“Tim is a great fit for this position. I am confident that his knowledge and experience will help cultivate our growth in the region and drive our company goals. We are delighted to have him onboard,” said President, Jacob Axel. Prior to joining AXEL, Tim worked at Hall Technologies, Cal-Chem USA, and Chem-Trend.

Tim will be responsible for sales and technical support for the region as well as accelerating new market growth potential for AXEL.

November 15, 2019 (Monroe, Connecticut) – AXEL Plastics Research Laboratories (“AXEL”), a leading manufacturer of external and internal mold releases and process aid additives, has named Mr. Gene Martin as the newest Technical Service and Sales team member in North America. Mr. Martin brings over 30 years of sales experience to AXEL, which has been supplying mold releases for the plastics and rubber industries for more than 78 years.

“Gene brings technical expertise and in-depth market knowledge of the composite and fiberglass industries, which will provide immediate value to our customers and our organization,” said President Jacob Axel. He previously worked at North American Composites and Hawkeye Industries.

Mr. Martin will be responsible for service and technical support for all key markets and product lines that AXEL manufactures and markets.
